Chinese Cabbage


Chinese cabbage is annually grown as a salad crop. It is indigenous to China and eastern Asia, where it has been in cultivation since the fifth century.


Cabbage is high in fiber which can help to making the digestion easier and keep your digestion system healthy.

Recipes: Cabbage with apples
• Place all the ingredients (Cabbage, Bay leaves, star anise, sugar, cider vinegar) except for the apples in a large saucepan and season.
• Place over a medium heat, bring to the boil, then turn down the heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
• Add the apples, then continue cooking for 15 minutes until tender.
